I do not think you need to know Russian in order to enjoy this music video. Се ля ви is a transliteration of C'est La Vie from French, it means, "Such is life." Valerie Meladze is a Russian pop star from Georgia, the country not the state.

Do you remember thier TV show? They did not speak English, yet they had thier own variety show on American TV. Although I watched it regualrly, it did not last long.
