Blind, Deaf and Oh, So Dumb

People do not understand Bible prophecy. They confuse prophecy with predicting the future. There is an element of the prediction of the future in some Bible prophecy—it depends on the book and its purpose.

Mainly, when a prophet "predicts" the future it is along these lines:

“What you are doing is not working. Why do you think you can be a people of violence, and not be subject to violence? When you bash in the heads of the little ones of your enemies, do you really think that your little ones will not suffer the same fate? The hungry cry at the street corners and you drive on by in your Mercedes. Do you think God is blind? The drunk stands on the corner and pretends to cry, so even the just are unable to act rightly. After eating a feast that would feed two you tell the waitress, 'Yes, I want the banana split.' The poor see their bones, but you can't see your toes.”

“I will not even bother to punish you. Instead I will let your own sins blowback be your punishment. Soon you will see your toes again, but you will not rejoice. The Greenlawn you are destined for will turn brown when your children cannot pay your bills. Will your children repent, or will they instead curse you?  ‘Our parents have bought swimming pools, and borrowed money for vacations in Aruba, and there is nothing left for us but this t-shirt.’”

I have not heard anything like this from our modern "prophets," have you? Nor will you. Instead you will hear prophets do like they did for my mom and predict that she would write a book. I knew she would not as she was too frail. I was right, the prophet "speaking for the Lord" was wrong.

Do not listen to the court prophets of this world who speak what you want them to speak. They can be bought. They deceive themselves. I am not just talking about religious people. These prophets in our society are called politicians, pundits on Fox News, and Federal Reserve chairmen. They are at best self-deceived and at worst liars hoping to kick the can down the road one more time.

And no, I do not think I am a prophet. I am merely telling you what a prophet would say if God really wanted to talk to us. He won't because He knows we are blind, deaf, and oh, so dumb. 

We Don't Need No Education

I remember the modest controversy about this song. I knew exactly what the song was saying, appartently some did not not. I had never seen the video. Now we all have:

“We enjoy the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought”

I like this quote enough that I have placed it along side my motto on the right side of the blog:

For the greatest enemy of truth is very often not the lie — deliberate, contrived and dishonest — but the myth — persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic. Too often we hold fast to the clichés of our forebears. We subject all facts to a prefabricated set of interpretations. We enjoy the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.

It seems only fair to apply this principle to the death of the one who said it. In that vein I read an interesting article about the JFK assignation assassination. 

I must be careful as the article fits in with my internal filters. I may blog about the CIA's Northwood project, and the Bay of Pigs incident,  which may have caused the Cuban missile crisis.  But this quote really jumped off the page:

E. Howard Hunt, the infamous CIA agent who overthrew the government of Guatemala and worked in the CIA’s anti-Castro Cuban operations, and who later achieved infamy as one of the Watergate burglars, had his deathbed confession revealed by his son in 2007. In his confession, E. Howard Hunt revealed that it was the CIA and Lyndon Banes Johnson who were behind the assassination, and that he, himself, was involved.

I have heard or read nothing in Andrew Marshal's article, or anywhere else, to indicate a conspiracy of Jewish Satanist Bankers. But that does not mean there are not various conspiracies. There may be. But I am not convinced of any "uber" conspiracy. If you really want to go deep, deep into the weeds, you can read more about Hunt's death bed confession by buying his son's book. I see no reason to go there. 

There are many possiblities. 

1. Hunt lied. (The fact that his son is making money for his confession supports this.)

2. Hunt really was involved. 

3. Hunt lied, but there was still a murder plot, but Hunt was not involved. 

I remain unconvinced by these kinds of things. Hunt telling the truth seems to me to be the least likely option. 

Let’s say that Kennedy was assassinated by Jewish Satanist Bankers. What can you or I do about it? Nothing, absolutely nothing. Your best option is to keep a low profile and separate yourself from Babylon as much as possible. This is the exact strategy I suggest. Reading all these weird books, and ultimately becoming weird yourself, is a waste of time. 

I do have a personal connection to Kennedy. The house I live in was built by an heir to the Hyatt Hotel fortune. He was afraid of assassins so he built a secret bedroom only accessible from a secret passageway. (He was eventually murdered they say, so he may not have been paranoid.) The rumor is that Kennedy clandestinely met Marilyn Monroe in that bedroom—now my bedroom. I may be sleeping in the same bed they slept in. 

Yuck. 

Why Do People Allow Dictators?

If the foundation of a house is faulty, it will eventually fall. 

Fake but Accurate

I do not feel that we have enough information to really have a strong opinion of the Martin shooting. That is not stopping most people from having an opinion. We do not know what happened between the time Martin quit talking to his girlfriend and the time the witness saw him on top of Zimmerman winning the fight. It is possible Zimmerman is telling the truth. It is possible he is not. My concern is the legality of following someone who is doing nothing wrong. Is this stalking? I have no idea. 

But it is interesting that rather than let the facts speak for themselves, the story has to be framed. Instead of using more recent photos of Martin and Zimmerman, the media is using old photos—photos that make Martin look like a middle schooler, and Zimmerman look like a thug. Why was this done? To ask the question is to answer it.

Here is what MNSBC, of all places, said about the pictures:

A more complex portrait of the two figures has emerged since then. A photo of a beaming Zimmerman looking sharp in a jacket and tie has come out, along with a more recent picture of Martin, with gold teeth and a white sleeveless undershirt.

Humorously, they show only the old photos in the above article. They do not show the new photos available even as they write about the unfairness of using the photos that they themselves are still using. 

Of course the media framing occurs on “the right” as well. I was hesitant in putting this here for obvious reasons, but I felt it was important enough to show the kind of framing both sides do.

Of the two photos shown on the left, the right most photo of the two is fake. It is a different Martin. Of course I immediately saw the picture on Facebook. I did not share it.  

(For those curious it was Michelle Malkin who made the mistake. It was rather a boneheaded mistake on Malkin's part. It is such a mistake it calls to question everything Malkin says if her research is that bad. I guess the photo was “fake but accurate.”) 

But we have gone from photos that are misleading, to fake photos, to finally editing for the purpose of framing. NBC had a story about the case, here is a transcript:  

In the NBC segment, Zimmerman says: “This guy looks like he’s up to no good. He looks black.”

The full version, though, unfolds like this:

Zimmerman: “This guy looks like he’s up to no good, or he’s on drugs or something. It’s raining and he’s just walking around, looking about.”

911 operator: “Okay. And this guy, is he white black or Hispanic?”

Zimmerman: “He looks black.”

NBC has not commented on what they did. Of course the number of people who saw the dishonest editing dwarves in number those who will ever read what had been done by NBC's editors. The dishonest editing has served the "higher" purpose and NBC's dishonesty will soon be forgotten. 

My point is not about either Zimmerman or Martin. If we do not know what happened, we do not know what happened. My point is that you cannot trust the media, neither NBC, MSNBC, or for that matter Fox, is trustworthy. If you can't trust them, why watch them? To evaluate each story would take hours of research. I for one do not have the time. If we watch unreliable news sources we will be deceived—only read the Prophecy Podcast for fair and unbiased reporting! (Ha Ha) 

One reporter I tend to regard as reliable is Juan Williams. Click here for his article on the high murder rate for blacks. 

I am concluding with this Hannity clip, not out of any belief that he is any better than the left. He is not. I almost did not include the clip in today's post, but the clip does show the editing that NBC did—editing that makes Zimmerman look like a racist. 

This reminds me of the Bush National Guard story. Letters were produced that indicated that influence was used to get Bush his National Guard spot. It was later determined that the letters were faked. The letters may have been fake, but the media narrative said the papers were accurate. At least that was what we were expected to believe.
