I actually had this on a video disk, then on VHS and now I have it on DVD, and here it is on YouTube! Some of the comedy has not aged well, but it is still one of my favorites. I am not sure why I like this so much as I must admit that Michael Nesmith is a "B" level singer. It might have been the black russians I drank when I watched it.
I have found that I actually like songs that never became popular, and while Nesmith had a few post-Monkeys hits, most of the songs here are rather obscure. but not so obscure as my friend and fellow blogger Eric Anderson mentioned one of them recently.
I am glad I cut the cable and no longer get "normal" television. I have plenty to watch and I avoid, as much as I can, feeding the Hollywood version of Babylon the Great.
